A Shared Vision for Golf and Friendship
We first met at a golf seminar and quickly realized how well we got along. As the conversation progressed, we discovered that we were both starting at the same company within a week of each other. From that moment, our connection and bond grew significantly. We were eventually appointed to run the junior clinics together, where we combined our previous teaching experiences and shared ideas to create fun games and solid instruction for our students.
After our first clinic, the gratitude we received from both the juniors and their parents was overwhelming. While packing up our equipment, we looked at each other and said, “Why don’t we create our own company?” We smiled, recognizing the unique, non-verbal communication we shared. It was at that moment that our business partnership and best friendship began to take shape. We spent long nights at each other’s homes, planning, organizing, and strategizing the foundation of what would become our company.
After about a year of hard work and dedication, we launched “Golf Done Right.” What makes our journey so special is that we’ve managed to grow our personal friendship alongside our business relationship. It’s a bond we deeply value and never take for granted.
Our Mission and Values
At the core of our business, our vision is to make the game of golf enjoyable for everyone we meet. Golf can be a challenging game, and we take the time to understand each student’s individual goals and aspirations. We make it clear that improvement is a process that requires commitment from both the student and the teacher.
We relate this to our personal experiences, as we both used to get frustrated after a bad hole or a poor shot. But through the guidance of solid mentors, we learned the importance of the mental aspect of the game. Golf taught us that you must let go of a bad shot to perform better on the next one. Once students grasp this concept, they naturally start to improve. We also pride ourselves on creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels. Our lessons are designed to be fun and simple, ensuring that our students look forward to each session.
Complementary Skills
Our complementary skills allow us to maintain a consistent approach in our golf instruction. This synergy is evident when we teach side by side in junior clinics, one-on-one lessons, and group sessions. Our non-verbal communication enables us to seamlessly step in and explain concepts, providing clear direction when needed. This dynamic ensures our students receive the best possible instruction.
The Role of Friendship in Our Business
Running a business with your best friend is a unique and rare experience, and we do not take it lightly. We always listen to each other’s ideas for improving the company, collaborate on new drills, and discuss our students’ progress. There is no hierarchy between us, only mutual respect. Our strong communication and equal partnership allow us to operate more efficiently than traditional corporate structures.
In the two years we’ve been in business, our friendship and professional relationship have only grown stronger. Our shared passion, drive, and respect for one another have been key to our success, and we are committed to making sure every student enjoys their golfing experience.
Looking Ahead
Our five-year goal is to hire more passionate and driven golf coaches who share our core values. We also plan to open a brick-and-mortar space for public use, private clinics, and lessons. As our company grows, our partnership will continue to evolve and strengthen. We aim to collaborate with individuals, sponsors, and companies that are equally dedicated to making people’s lives more enjoyable through the game of golf.

From his mentors at green grass facilities to indoor instruction establishments, he has built an immense knowledge of the golf swing that has helped his students thrive in doing what they love.
